Week 16: 525,600 Minutes!

This year feels like it started so long ago. I hardly even remember what happened because I have just been living. At the end of last school year it was softball season which was filled with fun memories. I also made the All Conference Team which is kind of a big deal. Well then graduation rolled around and my friends graduated so now I am friendless. Then summer came and then summer was gone just like that. I started senior year and now that is half way over but I got to play my last year of volleyball which was pretty successful with two All Tournament Team medals and making All Conference Team. Pretty good 2016.

Week 15: What's This?

I hate snow.. well kind of. It is cold. I have to scrape my snowy, icy car windows because I don't get shed privileges.  I hate to walk through the snow because it makes my feet wet and cold and then they smell. Snow is just random white stuff that falls from the sky. That is really the only way to describe it. But sometimes it can be cool when you build a huge snowman, make super cool snow angels, have a snowball fight with all seven of my siblings, and then you go inside all soaking wet and drink some warm hot chocolate.

Week 14: Turn and Face the Strange Changes

Freshman year I used to be Andy, Lisa, Matt, Phillip, Sarah, Justin, and Patrick's little sister.  I was the girl who never talked unless I was talked to.  I was the one who you could find on the volleyball court, softball field, or at home hanging out with my great family.  Now, 3 years later, I am still Andy, Lisa, Matt, Phillip, Sarah, Justin, and Patrick's little sister.  I am the girl who does not shut up ever.  (Unless I am with Logan because he never stops talking.)  You can still find me on the volleyball court and softball field, but not at home because I am a social butterfly and always out and about.

Week 13: Turkey Day Massacre

Here I am, sitting there on the counter just completely naked, about to go in and get my nice dark tan on. Not  a care in the world because I know it is warm and cozy in there, better than being outside in the cold world. Oh man! There I go... this is nice. That's where I am for about the next 3 hours. Then the pumpkin pie comes on in with me and oh man does that just smell so tasty! Now I'm on the middle of the table and everyone is surrounded around me. Now I am totally scared. So I use all my powers and hop away right out the door and hangout with the cats.

Week 12: On My iPod

So I don't have a music collection because I am Amish. We don't use any type of technology so I don't have an iPod or a phone. I drive my horse and buggy to school everyday and I am really excited because my family is putting in a record player.  I am not sure if this is legal within the Amish community but my family is a group of rebels.  We consider ourselves trend setters within our community.  Unfortunately, we are not viewed as trend setters all the time.  Regardless, about how we are viewed I am really excited to be able to jam out to "Stacy's Mom" in my horse and buggy.

Week 11: The Eternal Question

Why does anyone cross the road? To get to the other side of course. Or maybe it's just that the grass is always greener on the other side. These are both possibilities but the reason this black and white chicken really crossed the road was because there were a bunch of hot roosters on the other side and she wanted to go hit them up. She was just strutting right across the road trying to show off to all the males over there. Plot twist.. by hot chickens she meant they were in a fryer and started to eat them because she was into cannibalism. What a weirdo..

Week 10: Horror Movie Showdown

And now Bruce Buffer announces in the red corner standing 5' 3" and weighing 330 pounds from Lowpoint, IL the clown Rudy Pennywise. In the blue corner standing 6' 4" and weighing 225 pounds from Chicago,  IL Kyle the Clown Killer Schwarber. It will be a speedo modeling, paintball fight showdown. If I was a betting person, I would say that Pennywise has the advantage because he will be covered in rainbow paint so you won't be able to see the paintballs hit off of him. But in all reality I can't wait to see Kyle the Clown Killer Schwarber in a speedo.

Week 9: Top Ten…Reasons to be #TeamHudson!

Well I'm just feeling a little bratty today and want to go against your bog prompt. So my top ten list is reasons to be #TeamFahs.

10. He's a math teacher. Math is probably one of my favorite subjects so that's really pretty cool that he teaches it.

9. He has never actually been one of my teachers.

8. We both drive silver Pontiac cars.

7. He never underestimates my basketball abilities and knows that I would make the best point guard.. even as a freshman. (Although he underestimated my tackling ability last year at class games.)

6. FRIENDS.. the greatest television show of all times and he totally agrees.

5. He tries to make fun of me but that doesn't work so it's really humorous when he gets mad that I'm not mad.

4. He let me do his basketball book one night. That's a pretty big responsibility.

3. He cried at my senior night because he was so sad. What a nice guy to care that much. I didn't even cry. How crazy.

2. Euchre partners for life. We are pretty much a dynamite team and nobody can beat us and they are too scared to come play us.

1. COUNTRY MUSIC.. Nothing beats that. We literally sat down and talked about new country music and it was the greatest thing ever.

Week 8: A Story in 6 Words

"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
Once there was a happy couple who was over 8 months pregnant. They had a whole room full of baby stuff. All the necessities, like a crib, stroller, clothes, diapers, and more clothes. They had newborn shoes that their little boy would wear when he was born. They were the tiniest little things and they couldn't wait to put them on. The women went into labor and finally popped out this 13 pound baby. The little shoes weren't even able to fit the extremely large feet. The couple had to sell the baby shoes that were never worn.

Week 7: Horror Stories

“I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again.”
I didn't even know what to do but I was so intrigued that I really wanted to go open the mirror and see. But I was scared so I went the extra mile and did something crazy. I went to my closet and pulled out a tote that said "Halloween Costumes." There was so many costumes from all the years, I knew I would not have an issue finding something creepy. I pulled out witch, ghost, and clown costumes. I mixed them up and put them on. It was the most messed up outfit yet. But I walked to the bathroom, opened the mirror, and made the scariest roar ever. The creepy man in the mirror passed out. The End.

Week 6: The Answers are in the Back

Oh my.. if I found a book with all the information then I would definitely be shocked. If I had unlimited time then I think I would dedicate some of my time to this book. I typically hate reading so I hope it is actually worth my time and has good answers. I would probably ask more life and future questions rather than actual knowledge about English and math. But I wouldn't ask too much detail just like yes or no questions. Like have I met the person I am going to marry rather than asking who am I going to marry. This would be an interesting book.

Week 5: Back to the Future

I think that self driving cars will be a big deal soon. They have already started making them but they eventually they are going to be a big deal that everybody will have. Phones are obviously going to keep getting better and crazier because that's what everybody revolves around so they can make money on it. Like Logan Sasso for example, he pre ordered the iPhone 7. Our lives are going to be super different. I think other societies will also revolve around technology. I don't even know what to predict because nobody guessed it would be like it is now.

Week 4: Time Goes by SO Slowly

Woah. I definitely don't think that this would work. Everything in the world is based off of time. But I think that it would help to slow down and relax for a moment. Everybody would be free to just do what they want whenever. Nobody would know how old they are or when they have to meet up with someone or anything. I think it would make a lot of confusion for the world but if that's all we ever knew then it would be normal I guess. I like having seconds, day, and hours. I think it works well and I wouldn't change it.

Week 3: Ask the Expert

The audience is curious about volleyball. As I sit at the table in front of the packed crowd I am shaking because public speaking type stuff is awful. But then I get the first question...
How many hits do you get on each side at one time?
Wow.. what an easy question. I wasn't as nervous any more and shouted out "three"

Then the next question was name the positions in volleyball.
This was a little more difficult. But I named a few like setter, middle hitter, outside hitter, back row passer, and libero.

With just two questions the interview thing was over and I got to go home.

Week 2: My Own Worst Enemy

Oh my gosh. Why the heck do you procrastinate so much? Like you should just do the work you have right when you get it. Why haven't you learned your lesson yet? You go through this every time you have homework and you hate yourself every time. Then you get all stressed out about it and hardly sleep because you are up all night doing work. None of this would happen if you just did it. You just sit there all night long until like 9:00 and then almost fall asleep when you realize that you still have a whole book report to do. So just do it earlier next time.

Week 1: How's School?

SENIOR YEAR!!!! I could probably use at least another week of vacation but at the same time, I am ready to just get going so it can just be over. I'm sure this year will be fun too so I'm pretty excited. I only have 5 classes so it is a pretty short schedule. First hour I have Business Law which I am pretty excited for. Then I have Comp/Novels which is just of course is the best class in existence. Third hour is Civics which we are re learning the Constitution so that can't be very difficult. Fourth hour is Senior Seminar/Co-op which I think will really help for the future. I wanted to take Psychology and Sociology so that is fifth hour and I think that will be really fun. Then I get to leave to go to work. Volleyball season just got started with games last night. We played Leland and it wasn't the outcome we would have liked but I'm totally ready for the season. I am ready to just give it my all because it's my senior year so why not!
