Week 31-32: Hudson Honors

Most Interesting Part: The conversations that come up during midweeks were so off the wall that I found them so interesting. Like I never knew what to expect when we were just trying to learn grammar. And the argument about time was pretty interesting because it didn't even matter but it went on for like an hour.
Least Favorite Part: Just the subject itself is the worst. I didn't hate the teacher or the class or anything, I just don't enjoy to read and it doesn't necessarily come easy to me.
Thing I Learned or Improved Upon the Most: I have learned a lot of grammar and I think that will really benefit me in the future even that it was stressful some days.
Favorite Memory: Obviously everyday of learning is just great memories.
Best Thing About Hudson as a Teacher: Hudson definitely makes learning interesting and always has so much excitement so it helps to pay attention. I like that we can get off topic and she will just talk to us about it for a while. One thing she does that kind of sucks for the students but is overall really good is that she has a plan and sticks to it. She values our education and teaches as much as she can in little time.
Thing Hudson Could Improve for Future Classes: Not a whole lot. Maybe we could just quit reading! Just kidding!   Any Final Comments for Hudson: HUDSON! I don't actually hate you like you think I do! Thanks for all the help over the years and being a good teacher!!

Week 30: Senior Wills

I still remember when Patrick was a senior and he had to write this blog he was such a sweet brother and willed me something. He willed me the parking spot by the pole on the west side of the lot so I would always have a place to park. And I have taken good care of it ever since that until about a week ago when Jake decided he wanted to be a butt. But I wish I had a younger sibling to pass it down to because it has been part of the family for about 12 yeas now. That parking spot should just be retired. Although Taylor Laible is already a beast at volleyball, I will her all of my ability and the spot as captain. I know that Taylor will take good care of everything and  handle it all with ease so I will everything to her.

Week 29: Words From The Wise!

Well no matter what they do there is no way that their class will ever be as cool as ours and I don't want to give them any help on how to be that cool. One thing is for sure though, they have to win the class games or they will get made fun of and since we are gone they might actually have a chance next year. Beware of Fahs though, he will talk so much crap about beating you and then you just have to show him who is really in charge. Tackle a few people and then move on with the big WIN and then he won't have any crap to talk.

Week 28: Weirdest Compliment

As I am sitting here in the computer lab in silence, Rylan looks over at me and says, "Hey Jessica, you have very nice ankles." I didn't even know the blog prompt for the week so I thought that was a very strange compliment. But once I read the prompt, I didn't believe it. Jake told me I had nice teeth. That was really nice of him and I think it could be true. I don't know if he meant it super dearly but whatever. One time I was told by Hudson that I was a great speller and that was like the nicest thing I have heard. I also give very good compliments to people like Jake.

Week 27: Monster in the Closet

I was pretty scared of the dark as a child. You never know what the heck is going to pop out of it and then you hear little sounds and it just makes everything uncomfortable. I have gotten a lot better about being in the dark but I still have a little fear of it. I was scared of my siblings because I thought they would beat me up just for fun but I am over that fear because I can take all of them now. But at the age of 18, I still have one big fear that keeps me up at night and that is Jake's face.  It is just so terrifying and I lose sleep at night.

Week 26: Get Geeky!

I feel like I am pretty geeky about sports. I am very passionate about them... well only certain ones. Like volleyball, softball, and I like to watch basketball. I cared so much every time I stepped out there on the volleyball court and I tried my hardest to be the absolute best I could be. I would say that it has really paid off and put me where I wanted to be and achieve the goals I had planned. The same thing goes for softball. I just want to better myself everyday because I have goals I want to achieve and that is the only way to reach them. Then there is watching basketball, I definitely got more into this year when I started doing the book for games. I am hands down the best book person ever. You can even ask Fahs about it, he knows it is true.

Week 25: Talking to Myself

Future Jessica would tell today Jessica that "you are doing just fine." I would definitely trust future me because I trust myself right now so what would be different. I think that me in the future would be pretty trustworthy too. But then Future says that you should probably start to get your crap (bag) together because you will be going to college so you need to prepare yourself. Then she also tells me that you have some pretty cool people in your life and you should continue being friends with them because they are great. You have teachers that care about your education so be nice to them.. except for Fahs, you can be mean to him because he is mean first.

Week 24: I Don't Wanna Grow Up!

When I was a wee little kid, my favorite toy was rocks and I would throw them at my siblings and that is why I have such a good softball arm. I'm just kidding! But something I did play with a lot was little farm toys, like tractors and that fun stuff. I have a lot of brothers and if I wanted to play with them this was my only option. It was crazy how you could plant corn and harvest it and bale hay all within like 5 minutes. Then start all over again and have a farm auction. Man those were the good days. Then we would go outside and play like 4 on 4 kickball and baseball and then ride bikes. We got along like peanut butter and jelly.
A blog about my childhood is kind of hard to somehow mention Fahs but I know I would get so much crap if I didn't. So I guess the best way to do that is talk about my favorite childhood game of all time. Euchre. (Not a typical game for kids to play but it was for our family) I learned to play at like age 5 because all of my older siblings knew. We would sit in the house and have like 2 games going at one time. I learned how to play before Fahs ever did so he can never say that he is more experienced than me because that's not true. I'm the number one player with all of that experience. But he is still #1 euchre partner so he is very, very close second.
